¡No soy sexista, pero…! Una aproximación filosófica al sexismo y los males sexo-genéricos

En el presente artículo intento, en analogía con el trabajo de Lawrence Blum sobre el racismo, hacer un espacio conceptual y moral para lo que denominaré: “males sexo-generizados”. A diferencia del sexismo, el cual se define a partir de la inferiorización o la antipatía, los males sexo-generizados no incluyen estas condiciones. La ventaja de los males sexo-generizados es que permite una delimitación semántica y moral sobre fenómenos que podrían ser confundidos con el sexismo. Para ello repaso algunos casos como: a) la ignorancia e insensibilidad sexo-genérica, b) acciones afirmativas, c) socialización identitaria y d) privilegio masculino. Si bien estos casos suelen ser entendidos como sexistas debemos, por motivos conceptuales y morales, mantenerlos en la categoría de males sexo-generizados.
